I am pleased to announce that the album ‘DREAM’ is finished and available for download;-) We will have to wait at least one month for the physical release but the good news is that the digital release comes with a cool booklet where you can read all the info about songs, lyrics and see some photos. Exactly the same way as you would do holding a real CD cover;-)
I would like to thank Jay Schellen and John Payne for mixing the last four songs – You guys rock! When I listen to this album I feel exactly the same as when I heard the CD’s of DIO for the first time. It was about 15 years ago !!!

Stand Up – New Song Preview and Further Album Delay. The final date is the 20th of August 2011

Sadly I had to push the release of the album till the 20th of August. The album is being mixed by Jay Schellen and John Payne who have their band commitments(ASIA). I thought it will be fair to let them concentrate on their work first

KEN TAMPLIN: I wrote this song because I feel like so few people these days it seems actually do their own homework. They hear something on the radio, they watch something on TV and somehow it makes its way as Gospel in their minds never actually verifying to see if what was said is true or not. We live in an age, where I believe there is so much noise and confusion that it’s hard to tell what is real or not. Because of this, people become fatigued and just “go with the masses of thought”. But I believe that it IS time we start to think for ourselves, not believe what the highly agendized media is shoving down our throats, and stand up for what we believe. I believe this is true for the most taboo of subject from religion to politics. If they can wear us down, turn us into zombie sheep, then they will have ultimate control. I believe in God. I don’t believe that what is being spoonfed to us, that the latest new hot car, or better clothes, or hot babe or guy is what truly makes us happy. I believe only an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ can do that. Everything else is fluff. It’s not that those things are bad, and they have their place. But they ARE NOT the ultimate road to happiness and a fulfilled life. It’s time we STAND UP and man up to some of life’s biggest questions. Who are we? Where did we come from? Why are we here? What is at the end?
GREG X: When I listen to ‘Stand up’ it reminds me the time when I was recording this song – the end of summer 2010. You could see yellow leaves on the trees indicating that there is a change of season. At that time thanks to a friend of mine I started making some important changes to my life by taking action to make it better. Short after recording this song I went to Germany to meet Ken Tamplin. This song will always remind me of this meeting and how cool person he is. Musically there is a lot of Van Halen and Yngwie Malmsteen influences. This is my favorite song on the album and I am really proud of my melodic solo that tells the story exactly the way I wanted.
